LAND EXCURSIONS FROM PUERTO DE LA CRUZ
Cañadas del Teide
Departs early toward Villa de La Orotava for a walk around the streets to admire the typical architecture, with remarkable and beautiful balconies.
The excursion then continues toward Monte de la Esperanza (short coffee stop). You then start climbing up to Las Cañadas National Park, continuing on to the Parador Hotel and Roques de García (stop).
The excursion returns along the same route, down to the restaurant area, where you have free time for lunch (not included) and back to the hotel. Cable car NOT included.
Icod – Garachico (with a camel ride)
Pick-up at the agreed point to head off toward Garachico, which used to be the Island’s major port.
Visit to San Miguel Castle, the church of Santa Ana and „El Caleton” (natural pools formed by lava flows from the 1706 eruption that destroyed the port of Garachico and part of the town.
The excursion then continues on to El Tanque for a camel ride and lunch. The trip then continues to the town of Icod de los Vinos, famous for its wines, its thousand-year-old Dragon Tree and the church of San Marcos. Back to Puerto de la Cruz.
FROM PLAYA DE LAS AMERICAS
Cañadas del Teide
Pick up at agreed spot and then off to Guía de Isora, from where you get a view of coastal towns and the island of La Gomera.
The excursion then continues through Chío to the Chinyero volcano (last eruption in Tenerife in 1908), Pico Viejo, Llanos de los Rojos and into the Ucanca valley to the Ruleta look out point, Roques de García and the National Parador Hotel (brief stop).
You then continue on to El Portillo, with free time in the restaurant area for lunch (not included). The return trip goes through Villa de Arona. Teide excursion (half day). Ask your rep.
Island Tour
Departure from the pick up point, then off toward Santiago del Teide, Cumbres de Erjo and San José de los Llanos to the Garachico look out point, from where you have a magnificent view over Villa de Garachico. The excursion then descends to Icod de los Vinos for a look at the „Thousand-year-old Dragon Tree”.
You then continue on to Puerto de la Cruz. Free time for optional visits and lunch (not included). Return to Playa de las Americas by motorway.
Santa Cruz shopping
Visit the capital of Tenerife, island and province.. It started off as a small port serving the neighbouring city of La Laguna. It is now the most important commercial centre on the Island. Free time for shopping or for visiting sights like the church of La Conceopción, Parque García Sanabria and the Archaeological Museum, with its fine collection of remains and mommies from the Guanche civilisation (the original settlers of the Island), or the Natural Science Museum.

Medieval Fiesta
Visit San Miguel Castle and travel back in time to the Middle Ages, where you will be welcomed by the Knights of the Round Table. You will see parades, games and jousting between warriors in period dress. A magnificent medieval show and dinner. Then you can dance with the Show Band and watch the international show.

This wonderful complex dates from 1972, holding the world’s largest collection of parrots, with more than 300 species, some of which are almost extinct.
In nearly 120,000 square metres, you will find an orchid house, an African market, Tiger Island, Dolphinarium, Parrot Show, Lorovision, plus the new installations: Thai Village, Canary Island Village, seven large aquariums, gorillas, bats and the Sea-Lion Show. Free transport in the Mini-Train.

FROM PUERTO DE LA CRUZ
La Gomera
The excursion leaves early for Los Cristianos, to catch the ferry to La Gomera that leaves at 9 a.m.
On reaching San Sebastian de La Gomera, you visit La Degollada, the Garajonay National Park, Vallehermoso and La Palmita.
Lunch and Gomeran Whistling Show. You then continue on to Agulo, Hermigua and San Sebastian to see the Torre del Conde and the Hermitage where Christopher Columbus prayed before setting out for the New World.
Ferry back to Tenerife, arriving at Los Cristianos around 7.30 p.m. and back to your hotel.
Lanzarote
Very early start for Arrecife (Lanzarote) to visit Puerto del Carmen, Macher, Uga, Yaiza, Salinas de Janubio, Los Hervideros, El Golfo, Montañas del Fuego (camel ride), visit to the Timanfaya National Park, Islote de Hilario. Lunch included. The excursion then continues, visiting La Geria, Teguise, Mirador del Rio, Jameos del Agua, Guatiza, back to Arrecife and the airport to catch a flight back to Tenerife.
La Palma
Very early start to head for Tenerife North Airport.
Once in La Palma, there is a tour of Santa Cruz de la Palma: Town Hall, Plaza San Salvador, church of San Salvador and the Barco de la Virgen.
You are then taken up to the Santuario de las Nieves, and the look out points at Buenavista and La Cumbrecita to get a magnificent view over the awesome Caldera de Taburiente.
Lunch in Las Manchas and visit to Fuencaliente. Teneguia volcano and Cueva de Belmaco (Guanche inscriptions in the cave) and back to the airport for a flight back to Tenerife.
FROM PLAYA DE LAS AMERICAS
La Gomera
Set off early for Los Cristianos to catch the 9 a.m. ferry to La Gomera. Arrive in San Sebastian de La Gomera to visit la Degollada, Garajonay National Park, Vallehermoso and La Palmita.
